Led by manager Ging Scott, The Lodges at Transport World team takes great pride in providing stellar experiences to all guests during their stay. As Invercargill’s only Gold Qualmark-rated acccommodation provider, the bar is set high at The Lodges at Transport World and guests can expect to delight in exemplary service throughout their time in our boutique Invercargill apartments.
As a valued guest, we want to reassure you that the safety and well-being of both our visitors and team members is paramount.
We will continue our commitment to operating our signature outstanding service throughout the new Covid-19 Protection Framework regulations. The Lodges at Transport World will continue to operate at all levels of the ‘traffic light system’ – whether our region is in red, orange, or green light. Our boutique apartment accommodation is not mandated to scan the My Vaccine Passes of guests whilst staying with us.
However, scanning in using the Covid-19 Tracer app in the comfort of your accommodation remains a Government-mandated requirement. This can be found on the kitchen counter, next to the hand sanitiser, of your apartment along with additional in-house information about the pandemic.
All of our team members are fully-vaccinated, and we take pride in maintaining the highest hygiene standards to help protect all of our guests to the very best of our ability. Additional cleaning protocols have been implemented over and above our regular high standards, including sanitisation of all high touch-points throughout your accommodation.
Arrival and self check-in process
The Lodges at Transport World will continue to operate a contactless self check-in process. Information regarding this process will be sent on your anticipated day of arrival. Payment will also be processed at this time. A receipt will be placed in your apartment, alongside your registration form.
During your stay
Please continue to practice physical social distancing from other guests staying at the property, excluding family and friends. You must also wear a face covering in public areas, including reception. Should you require any housekeeping or maintenance service during your stay, a request is to be made with our team, who will arrange this for a suitable time when you are not occupying the apartment.
Guests are welcome to leave their key card on the kitchen bench and pull the door closed upon departure. We wish you a pleasant – and safe – stay during your time visiting The Lodges at Transport World.
